-State-issued photo ID required before check-in (insurance requirement).
-Please note that during inclement weather, such as snow or icy conditions, AWD, 4×4 or tire chains are required. For added precaution, we also highly recommend carrying tire chains, even if your vehicle has AWD or 4×4 capabilities
-Regular pest control is performed, but because the cabin is surrounded by woods near Shenandoah National Park, you may encounter insects both outdoors and occasionally indoors. The most common are flies, stink bugs, ladybugs, and sometimes wasps. These insects are harmless and more of a nuisance than a threat. For comfort, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed to minimize their presence inside.
